Thanksgiving! It's that time of year once again when we take time to thank all of our amazing guests for the past year of adventures together, and to invite you to share (vicariously or otherwise) in our projects for the to year to come. Retrospective
Early season, we started out with some short projects such as backcountry ski training (Tom Hoehn, above). Post-School-Holiday-With-Kids de-stressing getaway for mums (Kate Vacher and friends, below), and more.
In March, we were back in Lofoten, Norway.

Our "Gang of 4-8" helped us explore Livigno, Italy. Great potential! Our timing was sub-optimal on the weather front but as always, skiing got real, and fun was had, among these old friends. Family ski adventure
The Urquhart family joined us in the Silvretta region for their first back country ski trip in the Alps!
Wow, did we have some weather challenges on this new (to us) and already challenging tour! Mother Nature was really trying to blow us off on this one. And on, and on!
John Lashbrook couldn't quite hang up his skis, and joined us for some late season fun in Chamonix. 2019 Summer
Mark met up in Switzerland with repeat ascenders Craig and Michele.
Likewise, Salima was back to climb with Mark in Chamonix.
David Dougherty, ever faithful! Partnering with Mark near Chamonix.
Sisters Yibing and Yichie joined Kathy for another glacier trek in July, this time the challenging Berner Oberland tour.
Steve Murchie brought a couple of friends to share the fun with Mark in Chamonix.
Kathy joined forces with Ira Garber to put together a truly unique and challenging week of glacier trekking and peak bagging with his friends Jerel and Richard.
And of course Gini was back to climb with Mark! Always a good time.

| 2019-20
Winter Plans
We have an extensive line-up of ski tours planned again for this Winter. Check out the offerings below, and look on our booking levels page for space availability. We have time blocked out on our calendar early season for a return to the Queyras, February 9-14. So far the early winter storms have been slamming the southern regions, so it could be a good season down south!
We have a couple of spaces on our Silvretta trip this year, February 16-21.
Norway! We are heading to back to Norway! We'll stay at the lodge of our friend Seth Hobby in Lofoten, and enjoy high times in and amongst the fjords. See photos from our previous tours: 2018, 2019 1st tour, and 2nd 2019 tour. Trip dates: March 22-27.
We plan to explore a new area to us; the so-called Tour du Soleil in Central Switzerland. Trip dates April 6-12.
And of course we will be back in the Ortler. No ski season is complete without a visit to this, one of our favorite ski destinations. Trip dates are April 15-21, several spots still open.
And finally we hope to close our our 2020 ski season with a return to the Berner Oberland, April 27 - May 2. This trip is still wide open. |

Ski Tours for 2020
Your own private ski tour in 2020 In addition to the above scheduled trips, we also have several private programs planned. See our Booking Levels page for more detail. As of late-November, not all of the scheduled trips above have bookings. The following blocks of days could accommodate a new private program for you or your group.
If you would like to discuss a private trip, please contact us. We’d love to hear your ideas. 2020 Summer offerings Mark will be available as always for alpine ascents, rock climbing, and ice climbing this summer. Please check with him by email, and/or refer to our Booking Levels page to see what dates he has left. Kathy will again run her glacier treks this summer, including the Chamonix to Zermatt Glacier Trek. This is tentatively scheduled for July 10 - 16, but stay tuned here for updates. Do be in touch soon to join her on one of these classic high mountain routes! She is also available for custom, private treks and/or climbs, in late July and much of August. |
