Return to all recent trip |
The first day was Vallée Blanche day. A good snowfall the day before set us up with good conditions. |
Boot top out of the gate, things look promising. |
First tracks! A rare and beautiful thing on this most popular of descents. |
The new snow was lovely. |
We work our way down past the Géant icefall. |
The heat is on now in the lower reaches. |
On the train back home. |
On day two, we headed over to La Clusaz in the Aravis. We are headed up toward the Trou de la Mouche (the fly's hole?!) |
Nice looking tracks, but not too many of them! |
Arriving at the high point on the ridge crest. |
Not too shabby. |
Finding the freshies. |
And a few more! |
The snow got a bit heavy by the time we were down, but still very skiable indeed! A couple of Spring skiing days. |
