Brett Lambert and Hooker Hildreth • Alps Climbing • August 2003

Brett and Hooker met up with Kathy in the Chamonix area. They were able to climb the Cosmiques Arête, the traverse of the Aiguille d'Entrèves, the East Arête of the Pyramid du Tacul, the Dent du Géant and the icy north side of the Petite Verte. Unfortunately Brett got a mysterious stomach bug and we was forced to "sit" out the Pyramid and the Dent.

After the Cosmiques, all three of them did the traverse of the Aiguille d'Entrèves. Here, Brett is climbing along the rocky ridge.

A few moments later, Hooker traverses the same spot!

The northeast face of the Pyramid du Tacul. After the Entrèves, Kathy and Hooker climbed the classic East Arête, which is close to the la ft-hand skyline in this photo. We used to do this route frequently, but have not in recent years. Their climb reminded Kathy how fantastic the route is.
