Huascarán summit

Arnie Schmidt, Larry Krutko, Danny Klima and Kathy "pose" for a summit photo. This was a particularly cold day. On the way up we spent most of our time in cloud, becoming encrusted with rime ice along the way. Just as we got near the summit we finally broke out of the cloud into the sun. Unfortunately, though we enjoyed the sun where we were, all the surrounding peaks remained under cloud. What are normally spectacular views remained shrouded in mist.
