Information - Skiing up to the Col du Belvédère in the Aiguilles
Rouges
Return to the March 2002 Newsletter page.
On this day we did a wonderful tour. Starting from the Flégère lift, we skied up to the Col du Belvédère, then dropped down very steeply to the north and out to Le Buet. Then the train back to Chamonix. The view from the Aiguilles Rouges of the Mont Blanc Massif always astounds me. Here we can see the Aiguille Verte and the Drus on the left, the Grandes Jorasses in the center, the Chamonix Aiguilles and finally Mont Blanc on the right.
