This is a typical Namche tea house interior. This one even had a DVD player (perhaps not really such a good thing!). But they are nice places to rest and recuperate. These folks were part of a team of geologist climbers who were trying to gather rock samples from as high as possible on the Lhotse face, with the goal of dating its uplift.
