Happy New Year!
We hope you all had a good Holiday season and are starting off 2017 on a good note. This is just a quick update to let you know that a couple of our ski tours have changed status, going from "Private" to "Open Enrollment" on the request of their respective groups. So there is now space on our exploratory "Haute Route du Thabor- Vallée de la Clarée" tour running March 14-20, and also on a Silvretta tour running April 3-8.
The Haute Route du Thabor tour is new to us, so we have no photos to share, but this is a good chance to join us in an "on sight" exploration of an interesting and less crowded part of the French Alps. French guide colleagues have praised the comfort and quality of the huts, and the beauty of the terrain. The itinerary allows for safer/easier options in case conditions are less that ideal for the high peaks. We do hope to make a ski ascent/descent of 3178 meter Mont Thabor.
This area lies to the east and not far from La Grave, so those wanting to ski that famous ski mecca might want to allow some days before or after this tour to check it out.
The Silvretta tour is one we've done often, and of course also love, for it's welcoming and comfortable huts, great scenic value, and good skiing at a less arduous level than many of our other tours.
We hope you'll consider an impulse decision to join us on one of these!
There is also space on our other Silvretta tour March 7-12, our Plateau du Couloir Haute Route running March 24 - 31, and our Gran Paradiso tour running April 19-24
Finally, for those of you thinking more of summer than winter getaways, Kathy still has some spaces availble on both her Chamonix to Zermatt Glacier Trek running July 10–16, and on her Bernese Oberland Glacier Trek running July 19-25.
